The Centennial Kick Off celebration for Banner Elk’s 100th birthday is
Sunday February 27, 2011.
February 27th is the official date of the Town’s Declaration and Articles of Incorporation 100 years ago.
A Birthday party for the town is schedule today with cake, ice cream and a time of nostalgia as we kick off the celebration of Banner Elk’s 100th Birthday! The Town will be celebrating its centennial throughout 2011 at various community events.
